Get Bruce! chronicles Vilanch’s rise from journalism to scripting jokes for the Academy Awards and President Clinton’s 50th birthday party, offering glimpses into the creative process of making cracks. Robin Williams, Whoopi Goldberg, and Billy Crystal are just a few of the countless stars Vilanch has collaborated with. His backstage wit coupled with their on-screen fame make this documentary a modest success.
