Cone, Helen Gray1859-1934Born in New York City, March 8, 1859. Graduated at the Normal College of New York City in 1876. She has been Professor of English Literature at her Alma Mater, now called Hunter College, since 1899. Her volumes of verse are: “Oberon and Puck”, 1885; “The Ride to the Lady”, 1893; “Soldiers of the Light”, 1911; “A Chant of Love for England, and Other Poems”, 1915.
